Stage Double LP

STAGE is the fifth and final album in Bernie Marsden’s Inspirations Series. Presented as a limited edition gatefold double vinyl set, this is the format built for the album’s concept: four different concerts, each one pressed onto its own dedicated side, so you physically turn the record to move between shows.

Bernie’s charisma and warmth always came through strongest live, in front of an audience that gave as much back to him as he gave to them. Across these four sides you get the full range of that experience:

Side A – The Radcliffe Centre, Buckingham: an intimate, string-accompanied acoustic set
Side B – Keeping The Blues Alive at Sea: Bernie in full electric mode, driven by a swinging brass section
Side C – Notodden Blues Festival, Norway: an all-star band including Snowy White, Tony Ashton, David Levy and Henry Spinetti
Side D – Under The Bridge, London: a six-piece band joined by special guest Joe Bonamassa

A fitting close to the Inspirations Series, on the format it was made for.
